|Welcome to Dallas Al-Anon Information Service|
To help families and friends of alcoholics recover from the effects of living with the problem drinking of a relative or friend. Similarly, Alateen is our recovery program for young people. Alateen groups are sponsored by Al-Anon members.
The only requirement for membership is that there be a problem of alcoholism in a relative or friend. Whether the alcoholic is still drinking or not, Al-Anon offers hope and recovery to all people affected by the alcoholism of a loved one or friend.
Al-Anon/Alateen is not affiliated with any other organization or outside entity.
Your inquiry is confidential and anonymous. If you are concerned about someone else's drinking, we encourage you to browse our web site for information about our program and attend a meeting as soon as you can.
Help is here for the asking. Please take a moment to ask yourself these questions: "Are You Troubled By Someone's Drinking?" or "Did You Grow Up With A Problem Drinker?" If you identify with some of these statements, it is important to know that help and hope for friends and families of alcoholics is just a phone call away.
